Health Claims Regulations – back to drawing board!

Thank you to all ANH supporters that followed our request to write to your MEPs and let them know of your concerns about the proposed EU Health Claims Regulations (see our Campaign area on the ANH website).

Please keep the letters to your MEPs coming – this pressure and pressure from many other areas has meant the key Environment Committee in the European Parliament has enacted Article 165 of the rules of procedure, based on the fact there was so much disagreement on the Commission’s proposal and subsequent amendments.

This is another important move in the right direction – it is imperative that consumer, practitioner and industry views on these regulations are heard loudly and clearly in the EU Parliament.
