We’re living longer than ever. Though, not necessarily healthier. In this ‘pill for every ill’ era, our quality of life can deteriorate rapidly as we age. Polypharmacy is a significant threat to our health as we age because of the multiple adverse side effects, let alone the decreasing capability of an aging body to deal with the chemical onslaught of so many new-to-nature chemicals.

The good news is there is plenty you can do to age gracefully in robust health. Our new Health Hack video summarises what we’re doing in the ANH office to maintain our health and vitality. We’re not getting any younger either, but we are passionate about what we do and we’re determined that a few numbers aren’t going to slow us down! Self-care is a powerful tool each of us can build into our day to keep us in the driving seat of our own health. You can save money, but you can also bank your health to see you through your senior years so that you can keep doing the things you love.

There’s no time like the present to start, no matter your age. Use our latest Health Hack video to inspire your self-care journey, and for friends and family too. We’ve picked out 3 articles below for further reading and linked directly to our Food4Health campaign, which outlines our fuelling and fasting guidelines. Search our website (www.anhinternational.org) for more detail on the 6 tips in the video or contact us if you can’t find what you’re looking for.
