Too fishy and starchy for words…

I’ve known Dr hc Harald Gaier for many years. Amongst many things, Harald’s a leading naturopath, has a Harley Street clinic in London and has been long-time chair of the UK’s General Naturopathic Council. Apart from in the UK, he’s also well known in Austria and Germany, South Africa and many other parts of the world. In this week’s eAlert, the second from our revised website, Harald has written his first guest piece for us—and we’re excited to tell you that this will be the first of many! We’re confident that Harald’s wealth of experience and powerful convictions about natural health will be evident in the words he provides for us.

You may have heard about the latest breakthrough in diabetes in the news this week. It’s about changing the delivery of starches in our processed diets. In our second piece this week, I look behind the headlines. As with Harald’s rebuttal of the latest Omega-3 fish study – I also focus in on our ancestral heritage. It seems to me, as a species, we are so keen to move forward with new technology, perhaps we don’t spend enough time looking backwards and learning from our past.

After reading our articles and news below, please make the most of our new sharing tools which should work as well on mobile devices as desktop computers. Getting the word out and changing behaviours is key to the natural health revolution that is now well underway.

In omega-3-rich, slow-and-low-starch health, naturally
