The resistance movement is building

It was with great pleasure that I spoke to another of the movers and shakers in the rapidly growing resistance movement in the UK, entrepreneur-turned activist, Pandemic Podcast host, Dan Astin-Gregory. My interview with him is carried in our lead piece, and in it you will hear cogent arguments for a complete re-think of the handling of the covid crisis. You’ll also discover this is culminating in a meeting in London on Saturday 17th July, entitled, ‘Make Lockdowns History’ (register now!). Major players in government, the media, as well as well as scientists, health professionals and activists, are among the invited guests. For everyone else, the event will be livestreamed. This meeting could set an important precedent for how we move forward.

In a similar revolutionary vein, I question many of the leading strategies being offered by our governments in our second piece, suggesting these are deliberately designed to manipulate public behaviour, and not necessarily in the public interest. As more and more people wake to the reality, we must hold out that it will soon become untenable for governments to maintain some of their deeply irrational and unevidenced positions.
