With the obesity crisis on the lips of governments, healthcare professionals and others, we’ve put together a 10-point outline that we believe explains the majority of reasons for our society’s rapidly growing waistline. In my absence while I flew to the American College of Nutrition meeting in Orlando, our newly appointed outreach officer and nutritional therapist, Rebecca Pilkington, participated on a panel discussion yesterday in Sheffield, England, discussing ways of tacking obesity in children. She’ll report back in next week’s ANH-Intl eAlert.
Last Friday, I was one of several speakers grappling with how you introduce an entirely ‘new’ category of micronutrients to health professionals and the public. Most people have yet to hear anything about the category, despite it being fundamental to life, let alone health! I refer to nucleotides, the building blocks of RNA and DNA. In my piece this week, you’ll find out more about why people do so well when they supplement with dietary nucleotides.
In health, naturally as ever
