On the eve of the UK referendum…

Has any organisation communicated thoroughly and succinctly the impacts of staying in or leaving the UK? We don’t think so. Despite apparent efforts to appear balanced, the BBC leans towards Remain. Think-tanks such as the Institute for Economic Affairs that consider themselves independent, have made valid cases for Brexit, particularly around the advantages to the UK enabled by escaping EU protectionism, an issue that has major impacts on natural health exemplified in our lead story this week. The polls tell us it will go to the wire. This Friday morning in the UK will be memorable, either way.

In our analysis post the UK Court of Appeal judgment affecting glucosamine supplements, we recognise why the judge handed the MHRA the job of sorting things out just 6 days before the referendum. The MHRA’s task will be significantly altered by Brexit, should this eventuate.

We’re happy also to be reporting about a decision by a major peer reviewed journal in the US targeting US physicians which has decided to carry an editorial piece that warns about the impact of the full CDC-approved vaccination schedule on children. Further moves by individual states to limit exemptions would be a massive infringement of fundamental freedoms.
