Have your say with 2020 vision

It’s great to be back from a few days of reprieve after the festive season. I hope you managed some extra time to breathe, feel and sense this incredible world around us. For me, it meant a bit of extra time among family and friends, more time outdoors, and some spare time pondering over the precarious state of our planet and its diverse but nonetheless declining diversity of inhabitants.

We wanted to start the year asking you, our readers and supporters, what you feel about some of the most important issues we face. So we’ve created a survey covering five of the most important areas affecting many of our lives: food, healthcare, politics, environment and natural health. We’re simply asking that you prioritise 8 aspects of each of these areas so that we can better understand your priorities as we move into this new year and decade. The results could be very interesting and we’ll let you know the outcome once we’ve analysed the results in early February. Most importantly, they’ll inform what we do as we move forward with our CARE strategy, that represents Campaigns, Activism, Research and Education.

Our second piece takes a somewhat skeptical dip into Veganuary, the movement that’s pushing us to go vegan at least for January. You may not like what we have to say about it, but it’s something we feel strongly about, and our feelings are not just feelings, they’re views based on a lot of data and research. Eyes wide open is the name of the game.

Wishing you the best and most robust new year’s health, with 2020 vision,
