It’s too early to be too insightful about the impact of a Trump presidency on natural health. While we know Trump himself eats a good deal of organic food, it’s anyone’s guess how he will place the interests of health freedom versus those of the Big Biotech, Pharma and Food. Like all of us with a passion for natural health, we look forward to being pleasantly surprised! More than this, his personal views may be less important than those of the Republican-controlled halls of Congress, that will likely seek to reduce regulatory pressure and encourage more self-regulation. Whatever eventuates, the current public mood and wide-scale dissatisfaction for the ‘established order’ means there is also a real opportunity to link initiatives we’re undertaking in relation to Brexit with the work to influence policy by our colleagues at ANH-USA.
In an effort to reflect our own insights from our recent visit to Australia, in the weekly eAlert, we drag you away from the US and UK, and haul you ‘downunder’ — deep into the southern hemisphere. We reveal some of the more concerning aspects of regulation impacting health freedom in Australia – and also bring you an exclusive from Australian anti-ageing, integrative medicine doctor, maverick and friend, Dr Robin Willcourt.
Among our weekly news snippets, please be sure to watch an appeal from another Australian, this one from UK-based filmmaker Tom Meadmore. He is appealing for support to allow him to complete his eye-opening documentary on cancer. Tom urgently needs donations to allow him to complete the important film that has already been 18 months in the making.
In health, naturally
