Since our last newsletter, royal sceptres have changed hands. Britain and the Commonweath, in particular, are coming to terms with the death of Queen Elizabeth II – a monarch that has ruled for the entirety of most people’s lives. It is truly a changing of the guards. Our thoughts are with members of her family and all those affected by her passing. Death is but a portal, one of the few inevitabilities for each and every one of us. Yet despite the uncertainty that accompanies death for those left behind, so too is there an invitation for growth and change. Together, we co-create that change.
We have a bountiful newsletter for you this week. But first, for anyone who may be wondering if Rob has gone AWOL after his annual leave, I’d like to reassure you that he’s very much around. He unfortunately sustained a severe injury to his inner ear whilst on vacation at the beginning of August and has had to take time to recover – not something that has come easily to him. Thankfully he is healing well and getting back to his familiar form, as you’ll have noted from his last feature – and now this week’s on the looming spectre of higher than expected deaths in many countries.
Here’s what we have for you to dive into this week:
- Rob’s feature exploring why people are dying unexpectedly and why the silence?
- Countdown: less than 2 weeks to go for our unique event deep diving into behavioural science and communication so you can regain control again
- Information on an upcoming free webinar with Rob Verkerk PhD and Jaap Hanekamp PhD, the architects of a new micronutrient risk and benefits model for assessing vitamins and minerals (to protect them from regulators)
- Information on the Better Way Conference in Vienna this weekend (that Rob will be speaking at) and how to join the free livestream
- A short interview I had with Glen Jung in Brazil on why we can’t afford the luxury of continuing to eat and live the way so many do
- Our news roundups and especially jam-packed event calendar!
Hoping to perhaps see some of you in Vienna this weekend, and so looking forward to seeing those of you joining us for our ground-breaking Behaviour & Communication Magic event on 24th September. If you’re sitting on the fence about booking, there are still a few places left.
