Regenerate with, not against, nature

As we approach ANH’s 20th anniversary (on 15 May), I am comforted that we’ve seen an ever wider recognition of the interconnectedness between food and health. While the corporate worlds of agriculture and healthcare have typically been very siloed and disconnected – it’s the people, much more than industry or governments, that now see these two areas as inseparable, especially when you focus on regenerative agriculture and regenerative (natural) health – as we do at ANH.

These are the themes we bring together this week, when we look in our top stories at:

  • The current state of play with covid, vaccines and the new Valneva, inactivated virus vaccine, just approved by the UK medicines regulator
  • The possibility that novel concepts like agro-homeopathy may help reduce dependence on agrochemicals in order to reduce their catastrophic impacts on biodiversity

And of course – don’t miss our natural news and covid corner updates.

Next week we’re going to bring you a report on some of the exciting developments going on at the experimental farm of the Organic Consumers Association (OCA) in Mexico, which Meleni and I are visiting. This is another step towards our joined ambition to bring ever more closely together the regenerative agriculture and health movements.

As Ronnie Cummins from OCA often asserts at the end of his messages, abrazos y solidaridad (hugs and solidarity)!
