How much longer?

The question on so many people’s minds at the moment is “how much longer is this going to go on for?”. The answer to which no one knows. The future is just that – the future – and we do ourselves, and humanity more generally, a great disservice to vacate the present moment and project ourselves into a future not yet created.

Our present moment needs our full and undivided attention, and intention, in order to create a future experience more of our choosing. Our ‘now’ provides a window to what our tomorrow is likely to be like. If we are mired in fear, anger and negativity today, then it’s unlikely that we will be feeling much different tomorrow.

The corollary is that if we create inner peace now, we are much more likely to be thinking clearly and making conscious choices. Choices that will not only impact our tomorrow, but will smooth our way as we navigate this difficult journey and actively create a different outcome than the one being foisted on us. When many of us do this together, we are so much more powerful in our efforts to create a future that nurtures and nourishes both people and planet. An outcome of our choosing.

The article I’ve written with Rob Verkerk this week revisits the subject of fear again, but the kind of ‘fear by design’ generated by a very joined up global media enterprise. We hope that showing the shadowhand of global PR giant and World Economic Forum partner, Publicis Groupe, is like turning the light on for a child afraid of the dark. No bogeyman here, just a group of very closely connected, highly influential individuals crafting fear-inducing headlines to generate mass psychosis across the globe to ensure maximum compliance.

As Rob wasn’t able to speak in person this week at the COPtimisim conference in Glasgow, coming just a few days before the start of COP26, we’re delighted to be able to share his succinct video presentation with you looking at nature-based solutions to resolve the crises we see in both human and planetary health. You’ll see why we’re so passionate about our blueprint for health system sustainability because the world is urgently in need of a new way to approach health.

We have a wealth of news across our News Roundup and Covid Bites this week. The latter now being grouped into categories to make it easier to navigate. It does our hearts good to see how meaty the ‘Pushback’ section is becoming as the resistance movement grows across the world.

Have a wonderful week. Here’s to sovereignty, conscious choices and spending quality time with friends and loved ones, as well as in Nature.

In health, naturally, in the present moment
