Firstly – wishing you all the very best from the ANH team during these troubled times. Our thoughts go out especially to those who have had cause to experience, either themselves or through their loved ones, severe disease caused by the new coronavirus. We also offer our grateful thanks to all of those who have been on the frontlines, in whatever ways, providing medical support, food or other essential services. It’s been heartening to see communities coming together in ways that were hard to imagine just a few months ago.
The two Ps of police state and positivity aren’t typical bedfellows. But these are extraordinary times. So we bring you this week, on one hand, our own analysis of how the Covid-19 phenomenon is transitioning control over our lives from the individual to the State. We take a look at what powers have been unlocked by the state of emergency that’s been declared in most countries around the world, and some of the new laws that have been enacted. Most importantly, we challenge you to consider what this all might mean for us going forward.
To balance this, we also offer you a video and short article, based on scientific and clinical evidence from the field of clinical psychoneuroimmunology (cPNI). It’s a specialty of my colleague Meleni who was responsible for the content, that aims to help you stay positive during these drastically altered times.
Please check out too the new Covid Zone accessible from the homepage of our website that we’re updating weekly with important information on the subject. For those who’ve provided donations to support our work – a huge thank you.
Please stay safe – and wishing you the very best of health, naturally
