Our short-sighted desire for increasingly digital lifestyles is putting ever more pressure on denser, higher capacity data transmission systems that connect all of us with the Internet of Things. That comes in the form of 5G which is actually a surprisingly unknown quantity. This looks to be another sorry chapter in human endeavour, in which we pursue new technology blindly – in ignorance of its impact. Read our lead story and become a 5G activist.
