Towards a revolution – and Brexit

Whatever happens, developing a mindset that allows us to not just handle, but to embrace, big changes in the coming years is going to hold us in good stead for the future. Get ready for the roller coaster! And that’s the theme of this week’s eAlert.

Our first piece looks at social change and what it takes to become a change agent or activist. What does it take to drive the direction of society in ways that might reduce the risk of catastrophe for the human species along with many others? Skyrocketing chronic, autoimmune and neurodegenerative diseases are symptoms of our deep sickness – the majority of which is entirely preventable. But as many know, disease is good for business so disease management has now been firmly implanted into the status quo.

On the subject of change – we also delve into a somewhat controversial subject – trying to take on an objective view of the various Brexit positions. Since I founded ANH in 2002, our position has always been to promote and protect natural and sustainable health through good science and good law. The political work we’ve done has therefore been non-partisan – as natural health issues are definitely cross-party ones. With the UK facing 4 possibilities, hard or soft Brexit, a No Deal and even Stop Brexit, we aim to decipher the 3 main Brexit positions.

As you’ll discover in our weekly news roundup, the system doesn’t like change. That’s why Dr Peter Gøtzsche was expelled from the governing board of Cochrane, the very organisation he co-founded. It’s time for the people to step up to the plate.

In health, naturally and sustainably
