American voices on sustainability and emotions

The theme of our eAlert this week is linked to the US from where we’ve returned yesterday. We link you to the broadcast by the very popular Robert Scott Bell Show following my interview with Robert on Sunday. The subject was our sustainability blueprint and I’m very happy to report, irrespective of who we were talking to in the US, interest was very high, such is the level of disillusionment with the allopathic, mainstream healthcare system.

In our second piece, Meleni, after showing last week how gluten can act as a trigger for the current epidemic of autoimmune diseases, looks this week at the role our emotional state can play. Her piece was inspired by US psychotherapist, Dr Keesha Ewers, who presented an inspirational lecture at the Institute for Functional Medicine’s annual international conference in Florida around 2 weeks ago. Once again, it’s not something that’s often identified by conventional doctors, especially not general practitioners, who are more likely to prescribe an SSRI anti-depressant than deal with underlying causes such as emotional trauma.

In health, naturally and sustainably
